New Jersey Devils Sign Forward Brian Boyle To Two-Year Contract

The New Jersey Devils today signed forward Brian Boyle to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $2,550,000.  The announcement was made by Devils’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.

Boyle will wear jersey #11 with the Devils.

Boyle, 32, spent the 2016-17 season between Tampa Bay and Toronto, where he totaled 13 goals and 12 assists for 25 points with 66 penalty minutes in 75 games.  After two-plus seasons with the Lightning, Boyle was traded to the Maple Leafs for Byron Froese and Toronto’s second-round choice (Alexander Volkov) in the 2017 NHL Draft on February 27, 2017.  The Hingham, MA, native notched two assists with the Maple Leafs in six 2017 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
