NEWARK, N.J. (January 19, 2016) – The New Jersey Devils announced today that the organization has changed its social media handles, including on Twitter and Instagram, from @NHLDevils to @NJDevils to help better align the team with its dedicated fan base in the Garden State. The switch coincides with tonight’s inaugural Social Media Night as the Devils host the Calgary Flames at 7 p.m. at Prudential Center.
Before and during tonight’s Social Media Night game, Devils fans will have a number of ways to participate in special experiences, both at Prudential Center and at home, through interaction with the team’s social platforms. Earlier this week, Devils players Adam Henrique (@AdamHenrique), Jordin Tootoo (@Jtootoo22), Kyle Palmieri (@kylepalmieri) and Stephen Gionta (@steviegio11) each gave away an autographed jersey with their social handle on it via Twitter.
