The New Jersey Devils Alumni Association today rolled out a new version of NewJerseyDevils.com/Alumni, the web destination for the popular New Jersey non-profit organization. The Devils Alumni also officially launched @DevilsAlumni on Twitter to increase awareness of the Association’s numerous events and interact with fans, businesses and community members.
“The Devils Alumni Association has played a major role in supporting important charitable efforts around New Jersey for more than 15 years,” said Bruce Driver, former Devils player and president of the New Jersey Devils Alumni Association. “This is an important step in the growth of our organization and the overall impact we can have throughout the state.”
The Devils Alumni Association, which includes all former Devils players, is led by its current active members, including Driver, Ken Daneyko, John MacLean, Grant Marshall and Colin White.
The all-new NewJerseyDevils.com/Alumni site features the latest information about Devils Alumni Association members, its annual scholarship program, clinics and events throughout New Jersey, as well as exclusive photos and content from Alumni appearances. The site is also the home of Devils Alumni Association Charity Golf Classic, which will celebrate its 15th Anniversary on Wednesday, September 16 at Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, NJ.
About the New Jersey Devils Alumni Association
The Devils Alumni Association, a not-for-profit charitable organization, was formed in 1999 to develop and execute community initiatives, including fundraisers, service programs, hockey clinics and special appearances that promote youth and amateur hockey with the help of former Devils players. The organization hosts or takes part in over 200 events each year, including its annual golf tournament, which was started in 2000. The Devils Alumni Association also awards four scholarships each spring to New Jersey high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement on the ice, in their community and in the classroom.
